The heart is one of the most important organs in the body. Heart pumping oxygenated blood to all organs of our body. Heart health is very important, to maintain overall body health.
There are many habits that lead to heart disease. Some usually associated lifestyle habits that are not good. As we all know smoking, alcohol consumption, lack of exercise, having a diet rich in cholesterol make heart health is getting worse.
But apart from these habits, there are some habits are more dangerous than that, that can affect your heart health. Here are some bad habits that we rarely know, which can cause heart disease.
1. Ignoring brushing teeth. Your teeth play a greater role in overall health. Because bacterial infections of the teeth, can attack heart health.
2. Sleeping too much or too little, can be disastrous for your health. A study has shown that, disproportionate numbers can affect the release of hormones in the body. Which can lead to heart disease, heart attack, obesity, and stroke.
3. For some people had a reason, never visited a doctor, even when experiencing some of the symptoms of the disease. We better ask advice from friends or family to health problems. Occasionally went to the doctor would not hurt.
4. Stress and rage that comes on suddenly, harmful to you. A study showed that, the people who build the emotional and angry that experience a sudden burst, are more susceptible to heart disease.
5. Inhalation of pollution every day. The air that we use to breathe every day, sometimes laden with chemical substances and toxic gases, especially in crowded cities. Pollution from cars, industry, and burning wood indoors, can be harmful to the heart.

7. Abuse of drugs. We consume drugs have many side effects. They are not good for the heart, bones, kidneys, and also for patients with diabetes. You have to stop drug abuse. Drugs will modify hormones and natural body processes.
8. Being a passive smoker. Passive smoking can cause damage to health, rather than being active smoking. Avoid people who are smoking. Because there are more than 7,000 chemicals, which will lower your health.
9. The risk of pregnancy. Pregnancy susceptible to stress. And during pregnancy, pregnant women have twice the risk higher for developing some forms of the disease, including heart.
10. Having certain autoimmune conditions. Autoimmune disease means your immune against the disease is reduced. There are several types of autoimmune diseases that may contribute to heart disease.

This is my personal experience while struggling to quit smoking, it is to quit smoking is very hard for a smoker, but when we can with suskses beat the urge to smoke and decided to stop smoking this is a remarkable succes.

It is just the tips that I do to stop smoking:



  1. Be strong determination and our will, because quitting smoking must start from ourselves not the wishes of others.
  2. Calculate the profit and loss when we smoke, both in terms of health and finance. Because obviously cigarettes would interfere with our health and it has been much research done and a lot of reference to know that through the Internet, from a financial point imagine just how much money we spent to buy cigarettes, you try to count if one day to buy one pack of cigarettes Rp. 12.000, - means for 30 days was Rp 360,000, - and how much money you spend in 1 year ... ???, not money you spend on tobacco can be utilized for something more useful and does not cause disease.
  3. Ask for support from people - people around us, especially the family, and the people closest to us to strengthen our resolve to quit smoking. 
  4. Find a distraction while the taste / desire to smoke arises, this can be done by eating small meals / snacks or sweets

Terms of the above that I do to quit smoking, smoking cessation success in my opinion is a remarkable achievement and be proud of, because not all smokers can do.
